Cast in the shadows of the Baker Hotel sits Haunted Hill House 125 feet away. With direct ties to the hotel this home once hosted bootleggers, prostitutes and gambling in secret for those who wanted to misbehave with discretion.
Over the years several deaths have occurred here and the spirits still wander among the halls as if this place is still their own. Join us for an investigation or tour and walk with us among those who are among the living and the dead.
This home was built as an A Frame Home during Civil War and Established in 1880 and belonged to one of the First Founding Families of Mineral Wells. From 1880 to early 1929 the home was used as a make shift Hospital. Afterwards, the Home became a Haven for illegal activity.
They say if you die in this home you never leave. The Property hosts the Original site of the Welcome Sign and also the 1st of 3Healing Wells. Caves are located on the Property Known as East Mountain.
Native Americans hid out in these caves as they robbed and killed the local settlers. Its also Rumored Sam Bass hid his Gold and lost his life in one of the Caves. The home is currently owned by Edward and Katherine Estes.

History
How It All Began
The House has direct ties to the Baker Hotel and was a Brothel supplying working girls and bootleg for the Baker at one point. Several Deaths in the house happened during this time.The house is reported to be inhabited by 9 spirits.
The little boy that haunts the house was a disfigured child born to one of the working girls. He lived there until he was around 6. One of the owners reportedly fell in a well out back and died. He is reported to be one of the permanent guests. Several people have died on property as a result of the Flu outbreak including former owner Deborah Renfro.
Paranormal Happenings
Many people become nauseous, some get a headache and ill upon entering the grounds. Some are visited by a malevolent spirit the next day after visiting the house. Since investigations have started, all the groups doing investigations have agreed, the house is haunted. We have class “A” EVP’s, pictures, videos, ORBS, K2 sessions with intelligent conversations.
Groups have had balls moved by the little boy spirit. Several have had things thrown at them, over 70 people have been scratched and two bitten.
The house is now open weekends all year round for Paranormal Research groups to conduct investigations. Individual groups can also investigate after hours .
